Artificial Intelligence or Artificial Interference

After my initial attempt on the Art of praying, thought of writing on something that is really super hot these days - Artificial Intelligence

This has become the buzz word and I can see tons of articles around this in social medias, professional networks etc.

So, what exactly is this ?  There is a lot of ambiguity and apprehension among people as to whether it will take away my job etc.

First and foremost, we can and we should automate only "what we can". To me, where there is decision, domain experience, Industry knowledge, Subject matter expertise involved, Artificial Interference arising from Human natural intelligence will step in to ease out only the areas of execution like Routine, monotonous and repeating tasks, Tasks with well define SOPs (standard operating procedures), Tasks which does not require processing or thinking to a great level.

So, in essence, it's a complement to the human work force as machines (Robots or bots),when designed , programmed and operated well can handle such tasks with minimal or close to Zero errors there by freeing humans to do more of the thinking and innovation.

My take would be that it is Artificial interference rather than Intelligence emerging from the Human Natural intelligence.

While such things are good, Artificial interference or for that matter whatever we do should not disturb the nature and rather stay in harmony with nature.

The reason Kerala floods, although I had my prayers on behalf of the victims as well as to mother nature to forgive us and calm down, It was sad to see that mankind had again intervened with nature despite the reports on that (Article published as is from Indian express)

I will take a break here and try to come out with something interesting in my next post.

The Art of Praying

While I wanted to write on this subject for a long time, to be honest, never bothered to sit and pen my thoughts. The current climate being conducive and surrounded by an good Aroma of incense sticks and lighted lamps, I thought I should scribble my mind out today.

So, what is praying ? To me it's an art where in you try to establish a connection with the supreme. Though sounds very simple, it is a very difficult task and comes only through regular practice as human mind by nature is fickle and like a Monkey that jumps from one tree to another.

So, how to do we pray ?
Best way is to set-up the environment as required for any activity. Just like before a match, the pitch or ground is prepared, few things would help. Try to light a lamp and some incense sticks. Find a calm place in your home and try not to change the same. Get on to your comfortable wear. Wash your hands and legs and you are ready.

What to Pray ?
Now comes the interesting aspect. What to pray ? Answer is try not to ask for anything. Simply, close your eyes and try to remember all the good things that has happened to you in the day or the day before and thank God for everything.  Try to include the entire universe in your prayers as that way it's answered fast as we are part of the Universe. You can have an  AUM chanting or some light spiritual music in the background if required. Concentrate on your breath. This might sound like meditation but it's a lot simplified.

Well that's all I have for the day. I will also write around remedies for common issues like Marriage,  children etc. and will also try to publish on the temples that I visit. Though issues and remedies are available over internet quite extensively, I will try to handpick a few based on my experience.

Let Bhairava bless everyone with lots of health and porpserity.
